Steve gave a truly phenomenal lecture using one of the V&A displays as a prop. (Ask Travis about the video he took!)

The lady who made the big blue bowl and the one with a z pattern-- Alec Ebuzziya Siesbye (she had a posh French/Turkish accent) --heard Steve lecturing and came over to introduce herself! 

We looked her up when we got back to the hotel and she has some beautiful bowls she has made. These are photos I found on google:
